Our team converts designs into machine-readable formats and our precision equipment allows us to deliver consistent quality.

Panel & Format Saws

These are used to cut boards to design to match your design and meet your exact requirements.

ABS Edge Banding Station

This is used to apply ABS edging to cut boards for a seamless finish.

Press Station

Once boards are cut, we have the in-house capability to cover them in decorative High-Pressure Laminate (HPL).

CNC Machines

Once they have been glued and formatted, these machines are used to drill holes for connections and fittings for assembly, as well as cutting out non-standard shapes.

Paint Shops

Our two paint shop chambers give us the capability to produce furniture with lacquered finishes.

Foil Press

This gives us the capability to produce furniture with foil covered furniture fronts or decorative inserts.

How Your Project Fits Into Production

Factory production is organised around a series of “nests” based on the specific requirements of each job. These nests combine state of the art automation with skilled operatives to offer full flexibility in terms of design and materials to deliver specific, custom designed furniture and fittings.

SOLID SURFACE PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

You dream it up. We’ll build it.

Our solid surface production department contains a series of presses allowing us to mould custom pieces in a variety of materials.

Our heating furnace and press allows us to produce items such as dressing tables, while our hydraulic press gives us the capability of producing uniquely designed basins.

Polcom Furniture has completed 19 CitizenM furniture projects totaling more than 4,000 custom vanities with their signature look.

Formaldehyde Emissions

We select locally sourced materials to ensure they meet any formaldehyde emission compliance requirements in the project’s location.

FSC & PEFC Certified

Materials used are sourced locally to our factory and can be FSC or PEFC certified, to match customer’s requirements.

The main manufacturers of MFC and raw furniture boards used in our production include Egger, Kronospan and Pfleiderer.

For HPL laminates we source from suppliers such as Egger, Kronospan, Pfleiderer and Abet.

Our solid surface department enables us to produce unique items such as washbasins and vanity unit fittings to deliver your design concept throughout.

We use certified materials and can cater for fire ratings and high maintenance requirements.
