Affordable town-homes built to keep families in their neighbourhood.

Through partnership with HACE - a Philadelphia community development group, VBC produced a two-story affordable housing development perfect for families. The building style was ideal to fit on a standard sixteen-foot wide infill site in the outer city of Philadelphia, through identifying vacant properties for redevelopment and making them available for sale to low-moderate income home buyers. This development model can be replicated on a larger scale in similar markets globally to combat the affordable housing crisis felt across the world.

VMX Wood is a modifiable or configurable stacking building system. When it is modifiable layouts and sizes are flexible within our system parameters. When it is configurable, layouts are fixed except for the overall module length and exterior articulation. Configurability grants the customer more certainty in cost and time reductions while still allowing for some flexibility.
